Had to share this recipe. Jared brought me a slice of this two years ago from one of his food days at DTC and I absolutely LOVED it! So, I asked for the recipe and since Halloween is in the near future, thought some of you might want to make this for your little ones or if you have a sweet tooth like me.......make it for your self. lol!! As you all know....Miss Maranda's 1st birthday is approaching and I wanted to post a picture of all of us with Maranda, right after she was born and one that was taken this weekend. They really do grow up sooooooo fast!!!!

Birthday Tutu

Last weekend we went to Republic, Missouri to visit Grandma and Grandpa Davis. Maranda had such a great time visiting with them and also with her cousins and Auntie Jayme. :) Below are a few pictures from this weekend.

Maranda's 1st Birthday Update

Well.....I'm soooooo excited about Maranda's 1st birthday! I've been planning for some time, mainly to decide on which theme to go with, since I figure this will be the only birthday I will be able to pick the actual theme. I'm assuming next year and all of the other birthdays, Maranda will have something that she is interested in and will choose. lol!!

This year I have decided to go with a "Butterfly" theme. I found the plates on-line and I absolutely LOVE them!!!! Here is a picture of the balloon that matches her plates. Also, pretty much everything is ready for her party except a few minor things. Oh...and one of the moms from my Moms Group, Stephanie, will be making Maranda's birthday cake. She does an excellent job on her cakes. Very excited to see it!!!!

Well...I thought it was only fitting to create a blog since we have Maranda Sue in our lives now. I want to be able to share all of her special moments and pictures of her growing up with her family and friends.
